Sleep Walkers is the premier Late-Night raiding guild on Kargath. We strive to balance competitive progression with a casual schedule and atmosphere. We have managed to rank top 3 on our server despite raiding an average of 1-2 days less than guilds of similar rank. Here at Sleep Walkers, we understand that real-life trumps World of Warcraft.
We currently have three different raid teams which raid at the following times:
Tue/Thu/Mon from 10:00pm-1:00am
Tue/Thu from 10:00pm-1:00am
Sat/Sun from 10:00pm-1:00am.
Age Requirements: Please be 18 years of age or older.
Gear Requirements: You should be equipped with gear that is adequate for our current progression (no less than one tier behind our progression). You should have the highest quality, appropriate PvE enchants and gems in all of your equipment.
Skill Requirements: Previous raiding experience is a plus, BC and pre-BC raiding experience is a huge plus.
Talent Requirements: You must have a PvE talent spec. Willingness to respec if we ask you to is a plus.
Play-style Requirements: If you habitually go /afk or don’t pull your weight, do not apply. You must be a quick learner and be able to think on your feet.
Attendance Requirements: You must make 75% or more of all scheduled raids. We prefer members who approach 100% attendance. If you cannot make a scheduled raid, you must make a post or let an officer know before the raid that you will be unable to attend. ; You should also be able to stay connected to WoW for the duration of the raid, and rarely have to leave the raid for “emergencies”.
How we handle Loot
Loot System: We use EPGP in our official 10 man raids. We /random and use Common Sense in unofficial raids. We are fairly laid back when it comes to loot and we do not like greedy people.
Our raid, mumble, and guild chats are easy going and friendly. Please put one of these sentences/phrases in the “Reasons to Join” section of your application to prove that you pay attention and follow instructions: “Eliitz is on Team Finkle Einhorn!” “Wunhunglo ponders: To ankh or not to ankh?.” “What is a "Burning Hole" anyways??.” or “He's almost dead! CAST MAGE SPELLS! CAST MAGE SPELLS! Although we do not forbid the use of bad language, we do try to keep our guild clear of any over-the-top content as many members have children who may overhear something said on mumble or just don’t prefer to feel like they are back in high school again.
You will go through a probationary period after we recruit you. The trial period is for an indefinite amount of time and will be based on your performance and the commitment you show to the guild and to raiding. An applicant will either be accepted and become a raider, set at a member rank if they do not meet the standards for raider (of if they applied as a casual member to begin with) or removed from the guild if they do not fit in at Sleep Walkers. If you want to be promoted to raider you need to maintain a very high attendance rate, demonstrate a high level of consistency and precision in your play, learn to execute strategies quickly, and have a positive attitude.
Raiders have access to the guild bank for repairs during raid hours. The guild bank also provides some flasks to its raiding members.
